About the Role

We are looking for a Solution Analyst to join the Lexer team. As a Solutions Analyst, you will collaborate with the wider team in crafting technical requirements for sophisticated data projects. You will play a key role in analysing customer data to determine fit, quality, and compliance, as well as working with internal and external project teams to ensure that all requirements are met on time and to the agreed scope.

What is the role?

Technical Data Design Through customer requests or Lexer recommendations, analyze and interrogate customer data to determine the right solution and scope of work to achieve the desired outcome for our customers. Collaborate with the client and their technical teams and vendors to compile data to assess actual needs and capability through a variety of data analysis tools. Partner closely with the Customer Success Team throughout the technical design process, providing regular updates on progress to ensure transparency.

Data Documentation Build a comprehensive documentation package while simultaneously testing, manipulating, and interrogating the data. Creates a highly detailed data design and scope of work, noting inclusions and exclusions and design implications to help assign time, resources, and cost for the actual build and implementation, which could be used as an appendix to a customer contract.

Supporting Engineering Team on Successful Project Implementation Engage and support The Data Engineering team at the beginning of the project, implementation process by delving into the build as necessary by navigating risk and difficulty as well as hands-on support and guidance to ensure the team’s success.

Cross-Functional Team Support Play a support role for the Sales, Success, and Product Teams to provide the technical and functional knowledge for client solutions, and work closely with the Success Team to identify where Lexer could grow the account more with different solutions.

Project Prioritisation and Management Fully engage in communication through scheduled, ad-hoc, and in-person meetings, virtual meetings, email correspondence, or phone calls to establish an open line of communication with the Success Team, Data Engineering Team, the client teams, and other vendors, before, during and even after original project deployments are complete.

  • You can cut through the complexity and ‘noise’ of data problems quickly to identify practical solutions. Can adapt to differing customer technology stacks and rapidly understand how they interface with Lexer technologies

For this role, you will have:

  • 4+ years of technical experience with databases, technical analysis, programming, etc.
  • 3+ years experience working in a data business, working with diverse data-related technical projects.
  • An analysis background in a technical realm such as a business analyst or data analyst.
  • Knowledge of relational data and data storage concepts and formatting standards.
  • Proven experience estimating design and implementation efforts and risks associated with a brief a plus
  • A fundamental commercial understanding of data usage in an enterprise environment (marketing, personalization, etc.)
  • Demonstrated strong interpersonal and communication skills to develop and maintain relationships with customers and colleagues
  • Strong organization, critical thinking, problem-solving, and attention to detail.
