We are looking for a Senior Partner Manager who is passionate about managing strategic partnerships including deepening relationships and driving value and results for Discord and its partners. In this role, you will bring passion and creativity to engaging with our most strategic gaming partners.

You will build partnership account plans and lead their execution. You will be the day-to-day contact for partners managing deal governance, escalations and other tasks that are pivotal to the success of the partnership. Internally, you will be an advocate for our partners and bring the “voice of the partner” to inform cross-functional team discussions and business decisions. This hire will report into the Head of Strategic Partner Management.

What You'll Be Doing

• Drive overall partner success and be responsible for the performance of strategic partnerships
• Maintain partner pipelines, prioritize accounts and clearly communicate status to management
• Recommend new tools and programs to partners and drive adoption
• Develop account plans and work with third party counterparts to get alignment and set expectations for delivery
• Provide quantitative and qualitative reports to drive continuous improvement, optimization, and innovation for key accounts
• Be a thought leader and bring creativity to how Discord can grow its partnerships
• Execute on strategy that supports organizational goals, creating win win situations for both Discord and its partners
• Work with the Business Development team and cross-functional colleagues including product, marketing, operations, and legal to ensure partner success and achieve defined KPIs

What you should have

• 6+ years experience in partner management, strategic partnerships or related field, including experience partnering with AAA game publishers
• Passion for acting as an internal advocate for partners
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail
• Able to build deep, value driven relationships with partners
• Self-motivation and ability to develop new initiatives
• Ability to work and self-direct in a fast-paced startup environment
• Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills
• Gaming industry experience is required

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $167,000 to $184,000 + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role and level. Within the range, individual pay is determined by additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Please note that the compensation details listed in US role postings reflect the base salary only, and do not include equity, or benefits.
