Marketing Manager: Day in the Life
As our Marketing Manager, you will be a key player in Sendle's growth in Australia. You will manage product messaging and positioning, develop and execute go-to-market strategies, and create content that resonates with our customers. You will work closely with Partnerships, Sales, and central Marketing teams, and manage our PR agency to amplify Sendle's brand and drive lead generation.
What You’ll Do
Partner Marketing:
- Alongside Sendle’s Partnership Director, support the development and execution of partner marketing campaigns to drive growth and partner engagement
- Collaborate with partners to execute campaigns effectively and oversee post-campaign reporting and performance evaluation. Collaborate with sales and partnerships teams to align marketing strategies with sales objectives, fostering partner engagement and driving growth.
Product Marketing:
- Collaborate with product and network to develop and execute product marketing strategies that support Sendle's business objectives.
- Maintain clear and compelling messaging and positioning for product capabilities and features.
- Support the go-to-market strategy and execution for product launches, ensuring seamless coordination across teams.
- Analyze product marketing performance, using data-driven insights to inform future strategies and tactics.
- Collaborate with sales to develop sales enablement materials to equip the sales team with the tools needed to effectively sell Sendle's products.
Marketing & Communications:
- Lead marketing and communications strategies to drive growth and position Sendle as the preferred courier for small businesses.
- Partner with the sales and customer success teams to gather customer feedback and market insights to refine marketing messaging and campaign targeting.
- Leverage data and analytics to measure campaign performance and optimize marketing initiatives for maximum impact.
- Monitor social media channels for customer feedback and share insights internally to improve product and/or resolve customer issues.
- Craft compelling narratives and campaigns that showcase the Sendle brand, our customers, and our mission.
- Provide support across PR activities via Sendle's external PR agency to ensure consistency in messaging across various channels.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate closely with Partnerships, Sales, Marketing, and Enablement teams to ensure alignment on goals and strategies.
- Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners to achieve shared objectives.
What You Have
- We’re seeking a self-motivated, proactive team player with a can-do attitude, ready to dive in, tackle challenges head-on, and make a meaningful impact.
- Proven track record in partner and product marketing, marketing communications, or a related field.
- Experience in developing and delivering partner enablement programs, including lead generation and co-marketing initiatives.
- Strong understanding of B2B marketing strategies and tactics, particularly in the technology or logistics industry.
- Excellent analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to craft persuasive messaging and positioning.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment.
- Proficiency in marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot) and analytics tools (e.g., Tableau).
- Experience managing external agencies and PR campaigns.
