Who you are

Metropolis is seeking an experienced, proactive, and highly organized Senior Recruiting Coordinator to own and improve the end-to-end coordination function for our Technical Recruiting team. You are someone who can manage complex, high-volume scheduling across teams and time zones, resolve issues quickly and proactively, and keep hiring processes moving forward under tight timelines. You make sound decisions independently, stay on top of details, and ensure a consistent and high-quality candidate experience. You partner closely with recruiters, interviewers, and hiring managers to keep interview plans on track, hold stakeholders accountable, and ensure timely feedback and communication. You are comfortable working in Greenhouse and other systems, and can identify gaps, improve workflows, and build more efficient processes as the team scales.

What you'll do

  • Partner with recruiters to anticipate scheduling needs, manage pipeline flow, and align coordination strategy
  • Coordinate high-volume, multi-stage technical interviews across multiple time zones, including executive loops and panel presentations
  • Resolve scheduling conflicts and logistical blockers quickly to keep hiring processes on track
  • Autonomously troubleshoot complex logistical issues to keep the hiring process moving forward
  • Manage relationships with Executive Assistants and high-level interviewers to coordinate high-stakes meeting logistics
  • Serve as a primary point of contact and provide clear, timely communication to candidates and hiring managers throughout the interview process
  • Ensure timely collection of interview feedback to maintain pipeline visibility and support hiring decisions
  • Own job postings, requisition management, and status accuracy across ATS and HRIS systems, including Greenhouse, Workday, and Dayforce
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate data across systems to ensure data integrity
  • Drive coordination initiatives such as scheduling workflows and communication standards
  • Identify gaps and implement improvements to increase efficiency and consistency across hiring operations

What we're looking for

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 5+ years of recruiting coordination or equivalent experience in high-growth or fast-paced environments
  • Proven ability to resolve issues and make independent working decisions within the area of coordination with minimal supervision
  • Strong prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks with a high level of detail and accuracy
  • Experience handling highly sensitive and confidential information while maintaining data integrity
  • Excellent communication skills and a deep attention to detail in all professional interactions
  • Intermediate or better proficiency with Google Workspace
  • Stays up to date with industry trends, recruitment tools, and sourcing techniques to enhance talent acquisition efforts
  • Identifies issues affecting recruitment and implements activities to continuously improve internal processes
  • Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders, drive accountability, and operate effectively in ambiguous, high-pressure environments

The anticipated hourly salary for this position is $28 USD to $38 USD per hour. The actual base salary offered is determined by a number of variables, including, as appropriate, the applicant's qualifications for the position, years of relevant experience, distinctive skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location of residence and/or place of employment. Base salary is one component of Metropolis' total compensation package, which may also include access to or eligibility for healthcare benefits, a 401(k) plan, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, a lucrative stock option plan, bonus plans, and more. #LI-WT1 #LI-Onsite
