What you’ll do
As a key member of the Content and Communications team that reports to the Editorial Lead, the Sr. Content Manager will play a crucial role in shaping the voice and direction of Linea content marketing. This position involves managing the Linea content calendar and ensuring the quality, consistency, and accuracy of all content produced. The ideal candidate has a strong editorial background, excellent communication skills, and a passion for storytelling in the web3 and Ethereum communities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage the Linea content calendar, ensuring timely publication of high-quality content.
- Oversee the content creation process from ideation to publication, including writing, editing, and proofreading.
- Write/ edit for a range of mediums: blogs, guides, case studies, video scripts, reports, email, and website copy.
- Collaborate with the Product Marketing, Growth, and Partnerships teams to align content with Linea business goals and initiatives, playing a key role on the GTM team.
- Ensure all content meets Consensys quality standards, editorial guidelines, brand voice, and is thoroughly SEO-optimized.
- Analyze content performance metrics and use insights to improve content strategy and engagement.
- Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate these into Linea’s editorial strategy to ensure content relevancy.
- Pitch creative and unique ideas for articles that enrich Linea’s culture and community.
Would be great if you brought this to the role
- Bachelor’s degree in Media Studies, Journalism, Communications, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in content and marketing communication roles.
- Proven track record of web3 writing in the form of a portfolio or individual samples.
- Proven track record of managing an editorial calendar and leading content strategy.
- On-chain footprint with deep, hands-on experience in web3 communities and as a user of blockchain technologies (ex, DeFi, NFTs, Social, etc).
- Strong editorial skills, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for web3 storytelling.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Proficiency with web3 content management systems (CMS) like Mirror and Paragraph.
- Experience working with a globally distributed and remote team, using tools like Zoom, Slack, Notion, Contentful, Mirror, Paragraph, and Google Suite.
- Strong understanding of on-page SEO best practices.
- Curiosity, open-mindedness, and a positive, can-do attitude.
