The Role:

As the Senior Finance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing key financial processes, including month-end close, balance sheet management, accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash flow monitoring, audit, tax, and payroll. This position requires a proactive leader with a strong background in financial accounting in scale ups. You will be a strong technical accountant and always looking for areas to improve to ensure the scalability of the finance day to day operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the end-to-end month-end close including preparation of financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet and Cashflow), ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
• Manage the AP and AR functions, ensuring efficient cash flow management, quick issue resolutions and timely payments.
• Oversee annual audit, tax compliance and payroll processes
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders (finance and non finance) to gather relevant financial data and provide insights for management reporting.
• Develop and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard financial information and ensure financial integrity.
• Mentor and develop finance team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration and professional growth.
• Work on exciting ad-hoc projects that contribute to the scalability of the business (ERP implementation, corporate restructure, R&D capitalisation, PMI).
• As a member of the Finance Leadership team, contribute to the development and implementation of strategic plans and business initiatives.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. CPA or CA certification is highly desirable.
• Proven experience in financial accounting, preferably in scale ups.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards.
• Experience in managing a team of greater than 8 people.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.
• Experience with ERP systems
